EMBROIDERY FONTS

Embroidery fonts are, as the name suggests, fonts that are most commonly used in the art of embroidery – these are the fonts that are often used to vividly stitch letters onto fabrics for a variety of reasons. Embroidery fonts are often programmed into sewing machines so that certain words may be consistently be embroidered onto a piece of cloth or several pieces of cloth. More often than not, embroidery fonts are used on articles of clothing – mainly, this is in the context of identifying people as affiliated with a certain movement, business, and the like. Sometimes, their own names are embroidered onto shirts and jackets. Of course, this is no longer quite as prevalent as printing – printing on shirts is considered to be cheaper than using embroidery fonts; however, embroidery fonts prevail to this day simply because the letters on embroidered apparel tend to last longer than letters found on printed apparel. In this sense, embroidery fonts can be quite cost-effective. English embroidery fonts are, evidently, the most popular of the embroidery fonts as the majority of the world recognize the English alphabet. Embroidery fonts are typically stylized non-script fonts that could be more fun than practical, or more practical than fun, depending on what they are used for.
